INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  2. Mix Garlic Butter seasoning into butter. Season steaks on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large oven-proof skillet over high heat. When hot, add steaks in a single even layer and cook until deep brown on one side, about 5-6 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until deep brown on the other side, an additional 5-6 minutes.
  4. Take temperature in the thickest part of each steak. Internal temperatures for each level of doneness are:
      • 125º rare
      • 130ºF medium rare
      • 135 ºF medium
      • 140ºF medium well
      • 145ºF well done
  5. If steak is undercooked for your preference, transfer pan to oven to finish cooking, checking internal temperature of steak every 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove steaks from pan and let rest 5 minutes. Top each steak with 1 Tablespoon garlic butter and serve.
