  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 red onion, small diced
  • 1/4 zucchini, small diced
  • 1/2 bell pepper, small diced
  • 3 tbsp Olde Thompson Smoked Onion & Garlic Pasta Mix-Ins Seasoning (divided)
  • 8 oz orzo pasta
  • 12 oz water
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  1. In a small pot, heat the vegetable oil.
  2. Add the diced red onion, zucchini, and bell pepper. Cook over medium heat until softened.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of the Olde Thompson Smoked Onion & Garlic Pasta Mix-Ins Seasoning and stir into the vegetables.
  4. Add the orzo pasta and mix evenly with the vegetable mixture.
  5. Pour in 12 oz of water and stir. Let cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is tender.
  6. Stir in milk and grated Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  7. Serve and finish with 1 tbsp of the pasta toppers on top.

Enjoy warm with your favorite garnish or a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
