Stir Fried Hot Honey Chicken

  • 2 lbs of chicken thighs, cut in large chunks
  • 20 Olde Thompson Whole Dried Chiles
  • 1 cup white large onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 cup water

  1. In a large sauté pan heat it on a high heat.
  2. In a bowl, place the chicken thighs and add the corn starch evenly coating the chicken.
  3. Next add your oil to the saute pan, and sear your chicken allowing a golden brown sear. As it is searing on one side, turn after 2 minutes to sear the other side.
  4. Throw in the Olde Thompson Whole Dried Chiles and throw in the diced onion.
  5. The aromatic of the chili and onion should be fragrant, next throw in you snow peas and mix evenly.
  6. Drizzle the honey, water and soy sauce along with the carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve over steamed white rice or cold soba noodles.
